need help on advice for sound proofing my bedroom. This is from outside noise most notably vibration and buzzing that is traveling from a neighbors boiler along my wall.
I dont know if im looking at a sound proofing or sound absorption option or if ineed its even possible to reduce this sound? Any help appreciated.

Maybe a silly question but have you explored with the neighbour whether the boiler can be made quieter?
Perhaps a new fan or pump may solve the problem, or maybe sound absorbing material in the boiler compartment to reduce transmission.

Trouble is once the noise has entered the fabric of the building it's very hard to isolate it. Car insulation is a good example, fitting sound absorbing felt in the engine bay to stop noise reaching panels is much more effective than fitting it inside the car.

yes i have tried. Its an old boiler they are not gong to replace although they did get ti lagged which made no difference. Ive read about tiles that can absorb the energy from the wall thus killing the line of travel of the vibration.
Thanks.
