I have had an EICR performed on a flat and it has been given a C2 for the kitchen light not having a sufficient IP rating. I know there are zones in bathrooms that require IP rated lights. Is this true for a kitchen and if so what are the requirements. Thanks in advance Dave

I was of the impression that while there is a set of minimum distances specified in Building Regs and manufacturers instructions for the placement of the flue terminal, that there is also a catch all that says the plume from the flue must not cause a nuisance.

Because Ideal only brought Keston a few years ago. Before that Keston boilers weren't the best boilers you could fit.

Is the cold water in the bathroom from the mains or is it still fed from a tank?

If you find the problem is with the boiler check with Baxi/Potterton customer support sbout the warranty on your boiler. The Remehas I installed in 2010 had 5 year parts cover on them, and generally you have the option of paying them to fit the parts or getting the parts sent to your gas safe...

I had a similar problem recently where the system had been installed with a permanant live to the room stat instead of the switched live from the programmer (timer).

Cold tank is about 55 gallons, not ideal but recharge time after any testing I have done has not been long enough to indicate a water shortage problem.

Pump is below hot water cylinder but shower head in bathroom is at about same height as top of CWSC, so no guarantee of free flow to shower head.
