    IP rating for kitchen lights.

The sink has no cupboards above so no close under cupboard lights. I would have imagined a damaged fitting would be C1.

    IP rating for kitchen lights.

I have had an EICR performed on a flat and it has been given a C2 for the kitchen light not having a sufficient IP rating. I know there are zones in bathrooms that require IP rated lights. Is this true for a kitchen and if so what are the requirements. Thanks in advance Dave

    Boiler plume problems

I was of the impression that while there is a set of minimum distances specified in Building Regs and manufacturers instructions for the placement of the flue terminal, that there is also a catch all that says the plume from the flue must not cause a nuisance.

    Ideal and Keston

Because Ideal only brought Keston a few years ago. Before that Keston boilers weren't the best boilers you could fit.

Is there an obvious explanation to boiler problem?

Cold tank is about 55 gallons, not ideal but recharge time after any testing I have done has not been long enough to indicate a water shortage problem.

    Shower pump problem

Tried it with and without the non return on the hot outlet from the pump and that does not seem to make a difference. Have not fitted an anti gravity loop, but if I did as far as I can see I would end up with an inverted loop as pump is at base of hot cylinder, and Salamander say the inverted...
