Sorry, I only have a 'dumphone' (and an even older camera!). Tried using plasterer's tape (with no success), so have just built up layers of filler and will be overpainting with 'no cracks' ceiling paint... Thanks for taking time out to respond.

Had artexed ceiling skimmed 2 years ago. On removing loose plaster from a crack along the ceiling edge (at joint with wall) I discovered an area of broken loose plaster pieces rattling around in the original ceiling. What should I do to mend it? I don't want to remove the loose pieces as...
