I can't find the manual for it (Ideal De Deitrich Falcon GT). It is extremely old! The later version says that it needs a 5 min overrun, but I guess that if this one doesn't even have the facility, then it doesn't really need one. I thought it might be a good idea rather than dumping extra...

Ha, we've got a shower in the static! I got a dual channel hive for the house as I'm not sure what heating system we'll have in the future when it's done, but for now, we mostly freeze in the static, lol!

Sparky been and reckons should be fine to put the Hive straight into the boiler terminals, and run the pump from the boiler terminals too, ripping the rest of the unneeded stuff out.

I've managed to get proper access to the wiring in the boiler now, and it looks as though it can take a thermostat, and also control the pump! I guess it can run the pump straight from there withouth a relay? (Pump is 140w / 0.62A.) Don't like the look of the black wire going into a "L"...

There's only one heating zone - there's no diverter valves or anything like that, and def no heating in the attic! I'm sure that's just a low temp sensor and can get ripped out, along with the outside sensor. I'm pretty sure you're right about scrapping the existing wiring and installing the...

The outside thermostat is just monitoring air temp as far as I can see. It's high on an outside wall. Weather compensation maybe - I don't know the technicalities. I do know that the one in the attic has a dial on it, same as the one in the main room. No, none of these are for the LPG...

There's 3 thermostats, 2 pumps, one holiday switch, 2 isolating switches, a mechanical time switch, an archaic boiler with a newish burner and 3' stone walls in the basement to contend with! I'll do a wiring diagram ready for tomorrow.

Hi, I've got a house with an oil boiler, and a static out the back with an LPG boiler. Do you reckon I could get a Hive Multizone system to control them individually? Or would it be a case of having 2 totally separate Hive systems, so 2 Hive hubs plugged into my router and 2 separate logins...

I've got an Ifor Williams horse trailer, and a very common problem on these is that water gets in where the side panel sits on the chassis, and stays there and rots the panel. Ifor Williams do apply sealant at the factory, but it comes off. I've resealed it myself, but it comes off (pic...
