    can i use cylinder stat to control my immersion?

    Looking for a way to have a cylinder stat to liven up an immersion circuit when the water temp drops below say 50 deg. I assume I can't run a normal cylinder stat in series with the immersion due to the high current. Any advice would be appreciated!
