Hi, Bit of a strange question. Is it ok to place a DHW cylinder directly onto a chipboard floor? The floor will be double thickness at 44mm. All the cylinders I can recall seeing have been mounted on two strips of wood. I have good reason for wanting to do this - too long to go into...

[/url] Nice looking bit of kit, but way too large an extraction rate for my 7 x 3 cloakroom! I've resigned myself to wiring in an unswitched FCU and a triple pole isolator. No problem really as the ceiling is down so I have plenty of access to cables... Thanks

No, I'll use an isolator, was just hoping not to have to install an FCU as well. It's not much of an issue either way really, just a bit neater without. Cheers
