    Air lock

    Many thanks for the replies,I know nothing re.Plumbing,living in a bungalow i know there's a big cold water tank and a smaller hot water tank that I never go near as plumbing and me are walking disasters. I'll call in the Plumber now it seems not an airlock. Thanks again for the help shipwreck

    Air lock

    Every time I turn the hot water tap on up comes a motor type vibration sound like a drill running,after I turn the tap off it keeps running for a while then stops. I suspect it may be a air lock but I don't know how to get rid of an air lock. Any help would be appreciated Thanks

    Working away I came home to find My wife had bought a lightweight Cont.iron from a car boot with a two pin plug. My son promptly cut off the plug and rewired a UK 3 pin in it's place. Coming home I promptly put a RCD adapter in to ensure safety but; Can you just rewire a two pin plug with it...
