Chimney breast removal and party-wall agreement question

I was told at work (might be completely wrong) that I can get a party-wall agreement now (after the work has been completed) just incase anything goes wrong in the future. I've never had any dealings with party-wall agreements in the past so don't know what they cover / don't cover.

Chimney breast removal and party-wall agreement question

I've just moved into 1930s semi detached house and have had the chimney breast on the first floor removed. The builder has added steels which have been approved by building regs. The next door neighbour was concerned that we didn't get a party wall agreement but the builder said we didn't need...

    Honeywell Thermostat wiring

Hi, I'm replacing my Honeywell thermostat with a new Honeywell thermostat. My current thermostat is connected to the control panel using terminals 1 and 3. Do I need to connect all three terminals on my new thermostat (Honeywell T6360B Room Thermostat) for it to work? I'm replacing like...

    insulating cold kitchen wall

Thanks for the reply. You are correct - I don't have a properly vented extractor fan. None of the other walls have a condensation issue so if I can add enough thermal protection shouldn't I be able to minimise the problem to a level that doesn't cause condensation?

    sagging ceiling paper

Hi The dehumidifier in my loft didn't cut-out and leaked. As a result a small-ish area of ceiling paper in my (newly decorated) lounge has sagged. Can anyone recommend the best way of either replacing a small section of ceiling paper (wall doctor) or re-sticking the current paper back...

    insulating cold kitchen wall

Hi My flat used to have a balcony which has since been made part of the kitchen. The wall is single brick and gets crazy amounts of condensation on it in winter. Ideally I would like to put free standing shelves up against the wall but don't want to do this until I can reduce the amount...
