I've had some success with mirrors with cats, but not a great deal. However, other garden visitors that you might not want - it works much better! The previous post was right though - it might scare off birds occasionally.

Yes it was safety concerns I had, which I think acrylic would solve. However, it appears it's maybe not good for other reasons. I might try something else for the hallway but I have found mirrored shapes that are made from acrylic for my kids' bedrooms.
