hi everyone, first post on this forum so please bear with me!

Basically, I'm looking to put a new, large mirror in our hallway and we've got quite a modern decor so the design needs to match. However, we've also got young children so I'm not sure a real mirror is the way forward.

I've been looking at alternatives and have seen acrylic mirror mentioned a few times. I was just wondering whether anyone had experience of this and whether it's a good alternative?

Thanks

I would have thought that acrylic mirrors would be really easy to scratch.....is it safety concerns you have?
John :)

Yes it was safety concerns I had, which I think acrylic would solve. However, it appears it's maybe not good for other reasons.

I might try something else for the hallway but I have found mirrored shapes that are made from acrylic for my kids' bedrooms.
