Acrylic Mirrors?

Hi All.

I was wondering if anyone can advise me on acrylic mirrors, such as this one.

It seems to be like one of those made by Mirror Kool.

In the Amazon description, it states "This imaginatively designed mirror has been created using the latest precision laser technology. It's cut from specialist mirrored acrylic which, as with conventional glass mirror, has a brilliant highly reflective surface... but with the added advantage of being much lighter, shatterproof and therefore safer! Made from a 3mm lightweight acrylic mirrored sheet it comes with sticker pads so you can fix it onto any flat wall without the need for power tools and without drilling."

And at the Mirror Kool wesbite, they claim "Our mirrors look and reflect the same as a normal mirror but with far more benefits"

My questions are;

1. Is it true that the mirror reflects/looks the same as normal mirrors? Is there any difference at all?

2. Would the adhesive pads supplied be enough to hold the mirror up or is there any risk of it falling down with time, especially if hung in the bathroom (for an approx. 60cm x 60cm miror)?

3. Can the mirror and the adhesive be removed easily if the mirror is to be taken off after some time? If so, how?

I was wondering if anyone had any first hand experience of this sort of thing.

Shatter proof is not the same as unbreakable. Acrylis breaks surprisingly easily.

It's going to be at face height in the bathroom, so I don't suppose it will come into contact with any real impact.

I'm more worried about whether the reflection, etc is exactly the same as in a normal mirror. Can one tell any difference by just looking at the front of the mirror?
