    Hey if running polypipe in notched joists and fixing with nailing clips will it cause noise through expansion and contraction as the heating goes on and off or is that just with copper pipes?

    hey when running plastic central heating pipes in the void below the downstairs floorboards do they need lagging? I presume if they did it would make the job awkward as the pipes are usually clipped with nail in clips tight to the side or underneath the joists not really allowing space for lagging.

    Hi what size radiator would I need for my living room. It measures width 4.2 meters, length 4.7 meters and height 2.8. Online calculators vary from 7000btus to over 10000 btu. Thanks for any help.

    il check under the floor to see if theres a valve. I have heard of people taking a radiator of and connecting to the 15mm valve with a nut and oil and polypipe. But the radiators I have are old ones with 3/4 valves.

    What do you mean by depends on the condition? Could the pipework be too corroded or full of sludge to re-use?
