Disable Yale ENA panel internal tamper

It's in the user manual, page 16. Logon to the panel as the master user (not engineer code). Then select "Master setup"/"Front tamper" disable and return.

    Yale Smarthome Alarm

    1. To open the panel up you need to unscrew screws which are accessed from the backplate of the panel. 2. To fit the panel to the wall you need to have the panel opened up to screw the panel backplate to the wall. 3. Once the backplate is against the wall then you can't put the panel back...

Wireless GSM Alarm - Yale Smart home or Visonic Powermax

If you're prepared to have a go yourself then the Yale Smarthome alarm is a very simple DIY install. I put one in to my house earlier this year and it's very simple + the engineers manual is available online and also easy to follow. I've got the GSM module so receive calls/txts if the alarm...

Yale Easyfit alarm: red triangle not clearing

The fault must still be present for the alert to remain. Check the tamper switches operate OK on the sensor, you could try manually pressing the tamper switch in (with the sensor cover off) and getting someone else to clear the fault. This would show if it's a sensor cover fitting issue or not.

    Yale Premium Alarm System

The "sleep time" for my Yale Smarthome system is just 1 minute. Perhaps the OP's system is different in that regard but 10 minutes seems very long. Do the sensors have an internal jumper which can adjust the sensitivity ? Again mine do but they're not the same units as the Yale Premium system.

    Alarm Component positions

Do you really need keypads 2 and 3 ? Are they used regularly for access/exit in situations where you want to arm/disarm the system ?

Yale Smarthome - arming issue - SOLVED

If you have final door disabled then you won't have the issue and can arm via fob/SMS. If you enable final door though and arm via SMS then the panel siren will sound and the system won't arm.

Yale Smarthome - arming issue - SOLVED

I don't follow you. With two-way panel-sensor comms then at arm time the panel can interrogate all sensors to determine their state. (Edit: sorry, you made this point in your previous reply assuming more capable/expensive sensors) But that's not the issue I was describing anyway :)

Yale Smarthome - arming issue - SOLVED

I don't see it being difficult to resolve. The panel software could just treat a remote "arm" request e.g. from SMS, dial-in as an arm situation where no final door trigger event is required. Just a panel firmware thing.

Yale Smarthome - arming issue - SOLVED

OK, an update for anyone else who may have the same issue. The panel was reporting "Person in room" because I had the "Final Door" option enabled (it is by default) and when I was arming the system during testing I was not exiting the house and triggering the exit door sensor (mag contact...
