Intergas boiler combined with OpenTherm and Weather Compensation

I have an Intergas Eco RF 36 with a T4R and weather compensation. I'm looking for my installer to change the current wiring over to OT. Having read a lot today, I'm confused as there lots of conflicting opinions as to whether WC and OT can work together without problems, but not what the...

Intergas Eco RF 36 / Honeywell T4R / Weather Compensation

Just had the first service on the above setup and wanted to check the advice above is still the recommendation. I've been discussing with my installer this morning about changing the wiring of the receiver box onto OT, but are there any cons with changing over? Thanks in advance.

Intergas Eco RF 36 / Honeywell T4R / Weather Compensation

I've added the optimisation menu option on the T4R stat and set OStart and OStop, but still couldn't see anything relating to OT10 or OT12. However, I've just had a look and at the receiver and there is nothing wired to the OT terminals so I guess that explains it. So would you suggest the best...

Intergas Eco RF 36 / Honeywell T4R / Weather Compensation

I can only see those parameters mentioned in the T4M installation guide. I'll see what is actually available when I get home.

Intergas Eco RF 36 / Honeywell T4R / Weather Compensation

Thanks for the quick reply. It was the specific mention of Honeywell RF that made me think it might not be doing anything, and with no specific mention of WC in the T4R instructions I assumed the OStart and OStop would work on the room sensor rather than the outside temperature sensor. At the...

Intergas Eco RF 36 / Honeywell T4R / Weather Compensation

Hi, I've recently had an Intergas Eco RF 36 fitted with an outside temperature sensor and a Honeywell T4R. I've read the following in the Intergas installation guide and am confused .... The appliance is equipped with a connection for an outside temperature sensor. The outside temperature...

Belling double under oven cable clamp

I'm trying to finish the installation of a Belling BI70FP, but am stuck at the final hurdle. I've opened the terminal block, but am struggling to remove/open the cable clamp, and am scared of breaking it. There must be a knack to it - I've seen a comment on a youtube video suggesting it's like...

Vinyl flooring and carpet spray adhesive

Thanks for the quick reply crazydaze. Not sure where I'll get with the shop but will definitely speak to them tomorrow. If there is discolouring or bubbling is it likely to happen within a guarantee period?

Vinyl flooring and carpet spray adhesive

Hi, First post here but used this site for a long time for some fantastic information when doing jobs. Just had some vinyl put down in the bathroom and have a question/concern. The vinyl was put down on tempered hardboard and the fitters said they'd glued it. I thought it would be...
