Appreciate that foxhole. Thanks. I'll get some clearer pics tomorrow. Although I'm not sure it will help further.
I'll have a look for some glue.
Thanks again
Foxhole - the pattern, stainless effect at the bottom and graphite on top is actually printed to the back of the edging. Once impact adhesive is applied it strips the colour. I aren't making it up lol
Thanks for your help footprint. Appreciate that - will
Give the hair dryer a go.
Foxhole - first pic is the front of the worktop - machined edge.
and the second is the back of the supplied edging strip.
Luckily it is my own house yeah. I had a fitter cut me the worktops but he hasnt...

I personally don't like the little testo manometer. I have a 510 and the hoses forever slip off the connections at the top I have tried cable tying them on Etc but because they're tapered it just slides off. No good when your testing and purging or completing a Stregth test as if you loose...
Thanks for the reply. No I suppose weird is an incorrect term. I meant weird to me as I have never come accross this type before.
Appreciate the reply - thank you
I hope this is self explanatory. The black is metal and at the top is what looks like 2x2 and same at bottom of joist. At the bottom of the photo you can see existing plasterboard screwed to it.
Hi,
My First question here.
I'm currently renovating a ground floor 1950s ex-council maisonette. And I am wanting to lower existing ceiling 100mm, insert 90mm acoustic insulation, attach resilient bars and overboard with 15mm Soundbloc board
My question is will the joist take around...
