I'm trying to put lights into the darkest wardrobe known to Mankind. I was either going to put in two vertical strip lights (1 on either side +/-800 mm long) or 4 gls led bulbs (2 either side high/mid) is it a simple case of bulb lumens added = same amount of light? Or would say for arguments...

I'll try to explain I'm putting up a floating shelf directly under my TV. I want to supply power to the TV,DVD player, sky box, wii game console and hi-fi that will sit on top of the shelf. I don't want ugly trailing wires up to the shelf. I can't find any examples of what or how to do it...
