Kitchen Extractor fan wrong way round?

Yes I get that, but surely the updraft is created by both fans pulling air into the vent instead of one pulling in and other blowing out in to the hood, means the left side of the hood isn't sucking up the cooking air/steam etc , only the right side.

Kitchen Extractor fan wrong way round?

Here's a link to the model. The image clearly shows air intake (sucking air in) on the left and right side, but my motor is definitely sucking air on the right but blowing air on the left side., I think it should be sucking air too into the central vent so it goes up...

Kitchen Extractor fan wrong way round?

Hi, no it's on a wall that's internal, so can only recirculate. I'll try and find it. It was just a 90 cm cooker hood. Nothing fancy. "Ciarra" is brand.

Kitchen Extractor fan wrong way round?

We can't have it extracting to outside, it has an option of recirculating or extraction. We are using it in recirculating mode.

Kitchen Extractor fan wrong way round?

The kitchen was put in last year. The extractor is very loud, it's recirculating , and I noticed that the fan on the right side sucks air in, this has a charcoal filter. The fan on the left side is blowing air out, which seems weird design as the vent is in-between both fans., if I put a filter...

What would be the wire colour for this so I can check the wiring? Or is it likely a device fault that would lose signal?

    Danfoss hsa3 faulty?

Hi, read a few posts with varying faults on these actuators. Mine seems to call for CH when only the water is on so the rads are heating up. And it also seems to be overheating the rads and water when both are being called for. (I think that's tlwhats happening anyway, rads get extremely hot...

    Shed roof adhesive ?

I replaced the felt on the shed roof as it had torn during winter and was damaged. The roof panels had also bowed a bit I guess just due to lack of support in the shed. I had the overlap in the middle and used the recommended nails to tack it all down, but the peak is terrible as the roof bows a...

Fixing 4x2 posts to existing fence?

Like many, out fence became very wobbly in the storms. I need to repair it. I would love to replace it but can't afford to. It's a basic wooden post fence with cheap panels. The post in-between 2 panels wobbles, I need to dig down and see how it is fixed in the ground and how deep.(it was here...

Had loft semi converted to a hobby room but hearing mice

Ok that looks promising. Can I just drop them into the small holes in floor (it's where the wood meets the steel beams there are some holes) and let the mice /mouse eat or take back . I assume it will die under the floor but hopefully smells won't get through the floor. Could it mark the ceiling...

Had loft semi converted to a hobby room but hearing mice

We had the loft converted to a hobby room so it's all finished and used as an office but still has fold down ladder. We hear mice from room below so they are between the ceiling and the loft flooring but as the room is finished with vinyl floor I cant get underneath. There is some small gaps in...

Waste pipe in way of pvc porch

I was speaking to a friend today and they suggested external self levelling flooring, mask off the area with straight wood and pour the stuff in so the low level is then raised above the waste pipe. Then screw a uPVC porch onto it. Sounds feasible. Would it work?

Waste pipe in way of pvc porch

Yeah that plywood was already there and is covering a concrete coal bunker. This will all be removed. Foam stuff cleared away. Don't think there is a gulley. The previous owners look like they ran the pipe along the wall sat on original concrete base, then added the bricks to raise up the floor...

Waste pipe in way of pvc porch

Plumber might be able to remove, cut hole and feed through but it's on the bottom. Along the concrete floor where the base will mount. I attach a picture. Currently there are some bricks laid to raise the floor. But these will be removed as they are only across the door and to the right. They...
