    Radiators Always On

    Just noticed that all my radiators are staying on even when the thermostat is turned down and even when the timer has shut down the CH and Hot Water at night. I imagine a valve has failed has open ? I'm covered by British Gas 3 Star but just wondering if it's an easy job. Will call them...

    Saw a tin of white gloss paint in B & Q which was 'Non Yellowing'. Also said on the tin that brushes could be cleaned by washing in water. Anyone ever used it? Is it any good? Thanks

    I bought one of these first, trouble was the compression fitting would not retract back into the wall far enough to uncover the olive and hence couldn't get this tool onto the old olive. Total of about £40 to remove two olives ! Still I've got one more shower to do....so that works out at...

    Has anyway bought and used the 'Olive Puller' made by Monument ? It's the one that screws onto the compression fitting. I have to remove the olives from the pipes that supply a shower...the pipes come out of the wall at the back of the mixer and I can't get a regular olive 'cutter' or a hacksaw...
