    I’ve got the same problem. I’m going to Remove the plaster so you’ve got the joists. Increase the joist thickness to 150mm then use 100mm insulation board between the joists. Over board then your done

    Extending the cables will be fine I'd personally blank the existing spur box. Make a joint in it so it's accessible and run it along to the new back box

    Hi. I can get a Yale 6400 for £80. I've currently got no alarm and there has been a few break ins in the area. Is this alarm better than nothing or is it worth keeping my money, buying a samari sword and hiding in the bushes ?

    I've just moved Into a house with one of these fitted. The alarm box is fearful A fused spur but the fuse has been removed. Also there is no keypad In the house. Is it a lost cause trying to get it up And running. It appears that all of the sensors etc are already wired in which is an advantage
