    Replace whole air-bleed valve in radiator

    The top valve in one of the radiators in my flat is broken. I'm used to unscrew only the brass bit (which is a pain) and I've never seen it "inside" another bolt like in the picture below. Can I unscrew the whole hexagonal bolt and replace it with a new one without damaging the radiator?
