If you connect the white wire to 2in the socket try each other wire one at a time in 5 till you get dial tone then ring 17070 and it will tell you what number you are calling from

in the old days it mattered if you had too many master sockets because you were only allowed a ren of 4(ringing equivalent number.these days it`s not so much of a issue so I would leave the master sockets in then you only need 2 wires between each socket

if you connect orange and white from outside to 2 & 5 in the socket you should get dial tone. dial 17070 and it will tell you the number you are on.also connect internal to orange and blue

You can fit a bt80 junction box where the existing socket is and run a new cable to where you want the master socket to be sited. the colours on the master socket will be orange and white they connect to the 2 screw terminals on the socket marked A and B

hi, I have a friend who has a gardtech 580. the mains power recently went off for a day and since then the panel shows 86. you can still set it and unset it but can`t get rid of this code in the display. any ideas?
