Maybe I misunderstood this area is outside of the shower, but its adjacent to a shower head target zone on the other side of the screen. I have scraped, sanded misted and used bathroom paint twice.

Agree. There’s no pipe work in that area. Could it be something like the grout and/or waterproof tanking has failed in that area? Yeah that area is in showers target zone

Few factors: The silicone did have issues, I can’t tell if it’s resolved. There’s condensation - but then the whole wall gets wet, not just this one bit.

Yes it could. And it could be that the wall doesn’t dry out enough to hold the paint when I’ve repainted. My biggest concern is somehow water is getting behind the tiles and leaking through the plaster. But might not even be valid.

Help! About half way down the wall/shower screen I have started to get bubbling. I have removed/replaced the silicone inside and outside a couple of times and stopped much more obvious leaks. But, I just can’t see where the water is accumulating from, the wall is wet but no water is obvious and...

I had a leak in the underfloor heating which was fixed and has been retiled… I have just noticed this water mark outside. Any ideas how I tell if something is still leaking? Or how long it might take for this to go and know we’re in the clear?

Nope. I want it sorted. It’s in the corner of a room. You think both walls need to be stripped and potentially the pan replaced? Or just focus on that one wall with cracking tiles?

Thanks. Never say never, but pretty sure it’s not the pipework at this point. I’m more worried that the membranes have failed and retiling is pointless

If I run the shower without anyone in (it’s got a big gravity head up top). There’s no leak, so pipework, tray and waste seem good

I’ve siliconed the cracks I can see now. Leak is being monitored, but the tiles need to be replaced at least

Honestly don’t know. They either weren’t there or have got worse. We definitely didn’t have a leak until now

That makes sense. How do you do that? There are a couple of other cracks in other rooms. They seem to have been stable for over a week

FWIW - the tiles are white metro installed over ditra matting. I’ve temp silicones the F out of them

Recently had a supporting wall replaced with a beam and a leaky spot has appeared. The enclosed shower is directly above… in the shower are 4 cracked tiles. Do I just get a tiler to replace those tiles, re grout and re silicone or is likely something more dramatic required?
