No, I have not done any work on the cistern. The toilet is in an ensuite that was used by my nephew for the past few months. The toilet has been there for about 4 years so I am guessing the washer needs replacing or he has moved the cistern out of place perhaps. Thanks for the reply.

Hello Apologies if this is a very simple/quick fix problem. Whenever I flush my toilet, water leaks from where the cistern sits on top of the basin. Please can anyone advise on what could be the cause? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.
