    No he didn't charge for his quote . What is the issue you have seen? Only issue I can see is the electrical box on the pump is facing downward but that's the way is was and there wasn't room to turn it over as you see it goes into the floor of the loft and turning it over the right way would...

    I'm quite sure a pipe went to header tank but will check in the morning . the water in pipe went to the pump which was 22 mm will gold R's 50 pump and pipe out went to a 3port valve which T d the pipe and the they split into other pipes going all over.

    I was in the loft and it was all a bit tight but pipe going to header tank felt hot all the way then other pipes went in ceiling (floor of loft) seemed hot near pump but a bit cooler as they disappeared about a meter away from pump. Do you think it's a fault with pump or is air causing problems...

    Sorry did say in post 6. Pump was same heat as pipes and pipes were hot both side of pump as far as I could feel / reach. Power was going to pump.

    Took screw out the top of the pump and make sure impeller was running OK with a screw driver. Pipe was quite hot both sides of pump for as far as I could feel.
