I yes I saw this thread, looking at screw fix and amazon, not sure if to get the stuff you put in the radiator or the other stuff - (not sure where to put the other stuff to be honest :-() thanks xxx

Yes I am aware of that, however, I have NO money for a new one at the moment, and was hoping for a temp fix till the summer :-(

I have left it on and off for a while, the leak is going from an occaionsal drip to a drip drip drip drip - didnt want to do further damage so I have shut it completly down till I can find a (temp) solution as very short on cash at the moment till the summer. Can I use it even if it is leaking...

I remember at out last house we had this put in our system... thanks!!!!! :-) it could tide me over till I can save up for a new boiler ;-)

I have filled in online quotes for grants and cant seem to get one - I am much less than £16k :(

Thanks - I know it is inefficient, but I have just left a very stressful job and I am starting a new business, so no money in the pot as yet. I have looked at a grant, but don't quiet meet the criteria. I have been without central heating now since early December, so maybe I can sit it out till...

When starting the boiler up within 10 seconds, water starts to leak from the top seam of the heat exchanger, there appears to be no visible cracks in the heat exchanger. The water seems to be coming from the seam. Is this is enough information Many thanks xx

I have a Stelrad Concord W boiler, it is old I know, but I would like to find out if it can be fixed. I have absolutely no money, so replacing it is not an option. I have tried to do without any central heating, although mild, the house is feeling rather damp. Your thoughts please. Many...
