    Thanks for help, now sorted. After a lot of struggling, I eventually managed to turn it enough for it to lift off. Couple of very large water blisters on the seal which i popped and it's now working fine.

    Seal needs replacing but I can't for the life of me remove the valve. I don't think it's a clip on, but I can only turn it maybe 20 degrees in either direction. Does anyone know how to remove it? Cheers.

    Porch cladding

    We've just bought a house with a timber framed, unheated, enclosed side porch (leading to the back door). The interior hasn't been finished (bare timber frame) however we're not sure what to finish it with. Would plasterboard be OK in an unheated porch or do we need something more substantial...

    Floor expansion gap

    It's an unfinished engineered wood floor which has been painted. Hadn't thought about gluing it. Could it be glued to the patio doors?

    We've just had some new wooden flooring fitted (unfinished then painted) in our main living room and we have an expansion gap between the floor and the patio doors. We were going to get some scotia trim to cover the gap however how do we fix it? It would normaly fix to the wall but we can't...
