    Thanks. There is no standing water any more - we got it all out with towels in a couple of hours. We've just got wet flooring now, and damp concrete underneath... Dehumdifier might be an idea though

    Hi Had a burst pipe today and flooded the ground floor up to about 1cm in places (other places remained dry). The laminate flooring has bubbled up on the surface around the "joins" between the fake planks of wood. We're looking at replacing the flooring anyway in a few months time, so don't...

    Well spotted, thanks. I haven't seen it myself (not got a ladder tall enough) but the window cleaner said it's clear. Will try to have a look myself. Will also have a look at the other things you suggest. Thanks again. Thanks for that. Will find someone to have a look at it.

    Thanks. I had a look today when it was raining hard (and had been for hours) and the gutter and downpipe seems to be clear. The mould goes right up to the soffit around the corner - well away from and above the guttering....

    Hi I know nothing about roofing/guttering/soffits/brickwork etc. We've noticed some mouldy brickwork underneath the soffit where two external walls join. Does anyone know what it is and what could be causing it? Photos below. Many thanks [/url] [/url]
