Flooded ground floor - what to do?

Hi

Had a burst pipe today and flooded the ground floor up to about 1cm in places (other places remained dry).

The laminate flooring has bubbled up on the surface around the "joins" between the fake planks of wood. We're looking at replacing the flooring anyway in a few months time, so don't mind the damage to it, but wondering if we should rip it up now to allow the concrete underneath to dry out?

Any thoughts welcome.

Thanks a lot

I certainly would.....let as much air to the floor as possible.
Have the skirtings / plaster survived, do you think?

You need a puddle pump which can pump out water to approx 1-3mm, then a wet vac to suck out any remanding water in any low spots or corners. Then a dehumidifier.

Thanks. There is no standing water any more - we got it all out with towels in a couple of hours. We've just got wet flooring now, and damp concrete underneath... Dehumdifier might be an idea though
