    Prep for turf

I know it sounds obvious but how your going to get it level would be my first thought Maybe a string line and some extra dirt

Shed Insulation - Which way should I go?

I wouldn't use MDF in a shed, if it gets damp it will swell and that aint good. Plasterboard also doesn't like moisture. Your better off with plywood, even if you have to get thinner because it's more expensive As far as insulation goes I assume your talking about the walls? If you can get...

    Shed and Shed base

You could put the shed straight onto block pavers. You just want them to be as level as possible. When the ground isn't completely level, and your shed will have trouble going together, and the door won't function as well as it should The key is to have the bottom of the shed level. You could...

    Artificial grass on concrete

You could just paint it green and then add some pot plants etc. :) There's a guy around the corner from my old place who did this. It didn't look as bad as i thought it would actually!

    Wooden gate post.

You can pull it out by putting a big screw in the post that's left in the ground, then lever it out with a crow bar or similar. A long drill bit will also help give you some more space Quicker than trying to burn it out, and you do need to get rid of it for it to be useful again

    Help with my fence repairs

My old man had to get rid of huge rocks before he could lay the foundation for his house He found he could buy stuff which you drill in, then a while after you have put it in splits the rock. You could look into this (not sure on prices, availability etc.). I'm sure it would be easier to take...

Laying a 5mx5m Concrete Base - lots of questions

With the brick you want to crush up, i'd say no The reason being is that it can float when you are screeding the top. There may not also be much room if your going to run steel mesh If you were going to do it it would have to be very small and clean - not worth it IMO With the screeding you...

    Plastic shed base foundations?

You could gravel that area. Might not be a bad idea seeing there isn't much grass/dirt around to absorb moisture Then lay some pavers down over the top and put the shed on that If your really concerned about security/your shed blowing away then get some star pickets, drill holes in the corner...

    Insulated timber-framed Garden Room

Hi Bagheera, With your question about foundation these can typically be answered by your local planning office Usually if you ask them what's popular/easiest to get approval with they will tell you If that comes up nothing, then go the slab. Only if it's really damp and wet where you are then...
