    Advice for underground cables

Sure, it is 2” flexible pipe running underground beneath soil and gravel. It will carry 240 volt AC, and 12/24 v DC cables and exists at ground level. Will supply a water feature and a outside shed.

    Advice for underground cables

I need someone to point me in the right direction for the right equipment to allow electrical cables (low and domestic voltage) to exit neatly from underground runs. Maximum cable bunches will be 3-4 and it seems overkill using a man hole and chamber, but no matter how much I search I cannot...

I need to dig out a chamber for pond filter equipment approx 1 metre deep, 3 metres across and 2 metres wide. How should I best finish the job. My very limited (read non existent) building knowledge says that I can line and floor with breeze blocks and simple add one layer of breeze blocks to...

    Pond excavation

Thanks for the reply. I am only using concrete for the bottom drain fitting - The pond will be liner. If I was using blocking and walls, it would be much simpler!

    Pond excavation

Some advice please - If I am digging out a pond - say 42" deep, and want to put a bottom drain in, then I need a channeller the 4" pipe that will go to the filter area. The channel will be six inches wide to take this four inch pipe and will sit from the middle of the pond to a location about 3...
