Happy New Year everyone.
For me it's a chilly start to 2007.
I have a Myson Apollo Fanfare Si CH system that runs the radiators and heats a tank for hot water. The system is probably about 17 years old.
This morning, when the timer attempted to turn on the CH, I could hear the pump...
When I turn the handle on my garage door it will not open. I cannot feel any resistance on the handle, making me think the wire connecting the handle to the catch has broken/ become disconnected. As the mechanism is on the inside of the door, how do I get the door open. :?:

I have been having problems with my central heating bolier for some time now. To cut a long story short, the problem occurs after about 10 minutes from when the boiler first fires up. An audible click from the boiler is followed by the sound of water rushing through the pipes from the boiler. A...
After about 10 minutes of turning my central heating on, world war 3 takes place. I get unearthly banging in the pipes to and from the pump and the boiler keeps shutting down. Eventually it sorts itself out and runs normally until it comes on again the next morning. Any suggestions?
