Okay this is definitely out of my league isn't it! I really hate not being able to do a job myself but I may have to admit defeat on this one.
Anyone have any idea how much it would cost to have a either an electric shower fitted or the Mira APT that we like (see original post)? Roughly.. if...
Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I did think that about fitting an electric shower and wanted to avoid it really so I'm glad you've said that.
We have 2 cold water tanks in the attic and a copper cylinder immersion heater in the bedroom next to the bathroom. I believe it's low pressure in this...
Hi all,
We have a broken power shower that I need to replace. Is it possible to replace it with a totally different shower?

I've pulled out some built in wardrobes and it turns out the previous owner had the room replastered around them so now I'm left with a bit of a mess.
Do you think I need someone to be the plaster off the walls and ceiling and redo it all or can they just plaster the two rectangles...

My plan is to get a crowbar and or chisel to it and try to pull...
They are LED then, so bright straight away. That's a bummer, but at least I can stop tugging at the thing now and add it to the list of work I'll have to pay someone to fix! Thank you very much for your help.
I really thought I had basic general knowledge about most things, but it seems I really don't anymore! How do I know if they are LED fittings? The house was built in 1955 but the previous owner, who was only here for 18 months, made a few updates so perhaps changed them?
I will have to get an...
I would insulate it personally and turn it into a guest room/play room. Saying that, I rarely have guests, so it would be pointless for me! Great work though, it looks brilliant!
Hi everyone,
I can't believe my first post in this forum is asking for help to change a lightbulb, but it is so. I have recently moved into a new house and I've never had bathroom light fittings like these ones. I have tried twisting and pushing up (the outer ring turns but clicks in a way...
