    Hi. This one has a grey fascia, heating on/off/timer, single black knob for heating and two gauges. According to the wiring diagram on the inside of door, this is a Vailliant Vcw Gb242e or 282e.

    Thanks for the reply. Have now checked the pushrod, it's free to move, maybe even a bit of a loose fit/worn, so the diaphragm is suspect. However, I have noticed that the dhw micro switch is missing the lower screw, and seems slightly too far away from the cam. Any thoughts about this? Cheers

    Hi. This has a problem delivering hot water with heating off. It has a cam operated by a pushrod from the water valve. Observing the cam, it only moves about 2mm, not enough to make the dhw micro switch, and probably not enough to change the position of the servo valve. So the question is why...
