Hi guys my k750 husky saw needs a new coil i have looked on the net and there seems to be 2 kinds for the k750 on with 2 terminals on and one with just one on , i have attached images of the two kinds can anyone tell me what the one with 2 terminals is for ?

Its not the expense im thinking about but i have bought every electrical part in this fan apart from the turner motor so i basically have a full new setup but its not working... so unless i blew the new pcb board with the old motor like others suggested...

So the motor finally arrived today and guess what!! It still has no sign of life just a very faint buzz from the board...

Yea checked that with a meter there was a slight hum from the board when plugged in dyson says there motor is out of stock so i have to wait till there have it back in stock....

Also when i powered the fan up with the new board and left the motor disconnected there was still no sign of life

Yeah am not sure i can only think with it being such a complex motor the motor has burnt out causeing the system to not work

New control board fitted and lcd pcb fitted and still dead.... still waiting on the motor arriving so its all it can be now

When i spin the motor by hand it does not run smooth , you can turn it but there is a stiff resistance feeling that kind of judders

Well i am gonna have this fixed as i have bought each removable part from dyson im just trying to find out before they come and i go down the route of trial and error which part could be at fault...

Still waiting on dyson parts to arrive but while im waiting could anyone tell me how i could do a multimeter test on this motor to check for damage ?

Dyson has esured me that i can return what parts are not needed to fix the fan my first part to try would be the motor but i suppose that could of went and blown the board

I do have to say these are overpriced for what parts you get spesh when you open them up and see what you have got but that dyson research cost has to be payed back somehow

Yeah i do have to say this fan did stop working when i took it to work and it was running for hours straight , if i though i was going to get a new unit for the 99.00 i would deffo do that but that maybe not the case dyson have a 14 day return policy on all parts they supply so i think im gonna...
