KX15DT Sensor activated by movement through window

Sorry to add to the confusion. What I meant to say was the green light only comes on when I move about close to the window (outside), it’s not on permanently.

KX15DT Sensor activated by movement through window

Having re-read your note above, the aim is to stop the microwave leaking through the window. I think the microwave light is the blue led as when I turn the microwave pot right down that blue LED doesn't come on. However green LED does still come on. So I'm now going to tune it so the blue one...

KX15DT Sensor activated by movement through window

OK, so I turned the microwave potentiometer right down (fully anti-clockwise) and wandered outside. I still trigger the green led through the window but not the blue led. Not sure what led colours mean, but I have seen blue, green and amber at different times on this sensor. Is the aim to stop...

KX15DT Sensor activated by movement through window

Hi all I have a Pyronix KX15DT sensor that is opposite a South facing bay window at the front of our property. I believe it is causing the alarm to sound when it's picking up movement outside (ie through the window). I think this because I set the alarm off when I drove onto the driveway. Also...

Hi I received an email stating I will need to upgrade to Home Control 2.0. After installing the new app on my phone, I entered my home alarm credentials but at the login screen it states... Access denied. Before you can access this app, it needs to be authorised on the pyronixcloud. Please...

    Pyronix iPhone app - HomeControl+ or ProControl+

Hi all Can someone advise me whether I should update the app on my iPhone to use the new Pyronix ProControl+ app or should I stick with HomeControl+? The splash screen on HomeControl+ states that it has been replaced by ProControl+ but seems to continue to work fine for me. Anyone else...

    Pyronix Keypad ???

Thanks Sparkymarka. Consider this... 2 door entry points to house front - call them left and right. Once inside, there are multiple PIRs between the doors locations. Do we need 2 keypads, one for each entry point to disarm the alarm on entry? Cheers T

To upgrade or not...that is the question

@Handymanjo: Yes totally agree, I'm already onto installing computer points and wi-fi, but just wanted confirmation on the alarm upgrade. Existing wiring is 6-core. I have a roll of that already and can easily route it to new points around the house. Do you know how many wires are needed for the...

To upgrade or not...that is the question

Hi Some advice please from the alarm experts... We're having some work done at the moment and we have several ceilings down hence making access to existing wires fairly simple. We currently have a Menvier TS700 alarm system with several new wired PIRs fitted by me a couple of years ago. Is...
