    You must have altered something else somewhere. If you’re referring to them as a customer hopefully you’ve got a few panels, experience etc. Save yourself some hassle and just clean start the panel.

    What do you mean you have the zone set as final exit? Do you mean the door contact? Timed should be working fine. Are you sure they are setting Area B? Try changing it to final exit / timed just to see if it works then? Presumably for Area B exit you have a timer setup?

    You might be fine but you may also end up with an error on the panel that you can’t clear if the tamper goes off. There’s no way of knowing if this will happen up front and like I say, unlikely the panel would have been setup in this way - but not impossible.

    Accessing the engineering menu then exiting out should reset it until the next set interval. Are you sure it was the engineering menu you accessed?

    You can run battery tests within the engineering menu. I wouldn’t be replacing batteries internal or external each year - that’s just a waste.

    Either your user (the fob) isn’t set to manage area B or you’ve not selected area b to be unset when the button gets pushed
