You might find someone happy to install it for you but there’s no reputable company going to do the install and give you the engineering codes, particularly if they provide you proof of grading as part of the install. Someone may install it and leave you with all default codes to go it alone...

Engineers code, magnet and sensor off as you say. Don’t bother faffing about with recording the sensor to disable it. Just use some spark table and tape the magnet to the sensor which will make the panel think the loop is closed.

I’ll be honest I’ve never been asked this before. AFAIK it won’t set the alarm off nor will it stun the panel temporarily but I’ve never tried to almost brute force a panel before

Check what you have the offending PIR set up as on the inputs screen

Presumably you have the engineer code as it sounds like you, or someone, have changed something

Fobs don’t normally disconnect themselves from the panels but inadvertently someone might have pushed the fob buttons in a sequence to put them into relearn mode.

You won’t be able to fix that then. Still sounds like a win.

Your user code may be setup as a manager rather than a user on the panel. Push D, enter your code, navigate through the menu to see if you can find edit users and see whether the fobs are there already or can be added.

I doubt it. Honestly can count on one hand the number of problems I’ve had on the comms side of things. Usually the root cause it the 5g override on routers.
