Ch heats to 27, then stops, Ecotec

HI, Update: the thing doesn't stay on. Once it climbed to the required 58 degrees, but thereafter keeps cutting in the mid-thirties and the flashing symbol arrives. Then it stay off, rebooting every now and again. No fault codes, either. Flummoxed. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance. Cheers, Paul

Hi, That's cured it, they were shut. The temp continued all the way to almost 70, then it cut and continued to gurgle all the way down to 19, then it kicked in again, this time rose as far as 55, then cut and gurgled for a while until it dropped again to 17, the hour glass flashing from mid...

Hi, Thanks, I'll nip down and check that they're open and have a look behind the insulation. The safety hangs above a bucket - I'm in Belgium! Cheers, Paul

Hi, Yes, I mess with it every time I leave the house for long periods, which I do twice a year. Are the valves open if they are full clockwise, to the right? Thanks for your input. Cheers, Paul

Ch heats to 27, then stops, Ecotec

Ecotec pro, no fault codes, ch, but no hot water

Hi, Thanks for the further comments. It does look as though it's the aqua sensor/flow turbine. One final question, please, if it is the sensor wouldn't it give a fault code, or wouldn't it register a fault? No other plumbing done. Would this be the part I need? Ecotec pro, no fault codes, ch, but no hot water

Hi, There is no 'I' button, there are the two + two buttons and the reset. The bottom pair, marked + and - indicate a ladder when pressed at the same time. When I do this the CH kicks-in until I press top left button - back. When I press reset I get a one second whirring. Thanks for helping.

Thanks for the helpful replies, much appreciated. I'm not sure how to get at the s codes, could anyone advise on this? There are no lights or symbols flashing when I turn the tap. The aqua sensor looks favourite at the moment Can the wheel be freed, or is it a new part? Thanks again, Paul

Ecotec pro, no fault codes, ch, but no hot water

Hello All, I have searched this, but I can't get to the bottom of the problem. The pressure is fine and there are no fault codes CH works as normal, but when I turn on the hot tap it simply runs cold. Even with the boiler firing the heating and running the tap there's not even a hint of...
