I found the other day that I just run out of water from the hot tap. It transpired that the top col water tank that fills the hot water tank was filling very slowly. The ball cock was ok, but the water flow was very slow, hence was not filing up the tank quick enough. How can I improve the flow...

Pump is fine, the problem mainly happens when it is on water only and this does not a pump as it is on a gravity fill.

I find that when my water heats up on my boiler I can hear banging noises in the pipes. It can also sound like popping noises. When the burners stop heating the water the sound stops. I also find when the boiler is on water and heating there does not seem to as much noise..I have had suggestions...

I have also added two X100 and one X200 to the system as earlier in the year the system was drained. However when the system was drained there was never this problem.

Yes we have medium to hard water, not sure what a Kettle is ? ( in relation to a boiler).
