Apologies for the delay but I got this fixed just few days ago (along with other things) and basically the plumber has replaced the bypass tube with another and that noise disappeared! Once again, thank you for all your replies (outside the scary bomb one!), they were all useful

Thanks, I didn't really think it was a such big issue, as everything is working normally when it's on.

I'm surprised that whoever installed the system didn't notice this before but thank you @dilalio and @jeff the gasman, I'll report this to the builder to be checked. I just hope they will not make a big noise that I have changed the thermostats. Cheers

Is/they are definitely faulty? Does the thermostat have anything to do with this? Just asking as I have replaced the original Danfoss Thermostats with the Tado ones, however the heating works correctly until the temperature has been reached.
