    I live in an old guest house and I was decorating a room and I removed a smoke detector and the plastic base fell to bits so I bought a new smoke detector to replace the old one. My question is what to the four wires correspond to? And where would they go in the new smoke detector base plate...

    Aww I see what you mean. So all I can really do is turn the heating on/off With nest. So when the nest thermostat reaches my set temperature (let’s say 20’c) will the nest automatically turn the boiler off do you know?

    Hi thanks for the reply. I’ve set the nest app to maximum temperature but it doesn’t seem to adjusting the boiler temperature to above 50. Is that because the knob is st to 3 so it won’t be able to go any higher?

    I’ve succesfully connected the nest heat link and set up the nest thermostat. I am able to turn the heating off and on without an issue. I have the room temperature in my living room set to 20c just for a trial. It’s currently at 17c and the app is saying it will take 45 mins to go up 3’c. Does...
