I just realised I never came back to this. I took the battery out and re-inserted it. The clock powered up and has been fine ever since. Thanks, :D

ok, If the boiler carries on giving out heat and hot water, do i need replace the vessel (if its broken)?

I followed the above procedure, Went up to 3 bar with heating on with water dripping from the copper pipe outside. So i'm looking to recharge my expansion vessel?
