Yeah I noticed thanks. I had already prepared the wall like that and made sure there was no excess plaster or plasterboard etc. Is it best practice to use mitre setting spray prior to fixing? I planned on using a grab adhesive for fixing the skirting to wall.

I’ve removed the sink from downstairs cloakroom as we are getting new flooring and a new vanity unit and sink installed over the next few weeks. I used the mini joist hangers from Screwfix. They worked a treat. Just got to sort the cables into a junction box and we are all done. Thanks for your advice.
