    Sealing gap around toilet pan connector

    Noticed a tiny gap, where the pan connector and soil waste join. While plunging, water backs up onto the floor in this area. Could anyone advise on the best material to seal this gap please? Concrete floor, area is dusty with construction debris and it's damp.

    Did all of the above and water from fill valve keeps flowing into the over flow pipe and then it gushes into the pan. When the water gets to the top dof the overflow, water start spouting out the top of the fill valve What could the issue be?
