Drainpipe into Cast Iron Soil Pipe

The drain pipe from my conservatory runs along the ground to a grid. Right next to the gutter outlet is a cast iron soil pipe can I "T" into it ? If so I would need to drill/cut into the cast iron and fit an adapter of some kind. Now I've typed this I don't think its feasible.

I've shaved a piece out of a cupboard door right in the middle about 15mm x 10mm. Are there any repair products available , I've only found this one but I don't think it fills large marks. Scroll down to product 2 http://www.repairproducts.co.uk/page8.htm

    Double Spur

Is it really a ring in the garage, or is it a radial. From where are the sockets fed? It will be a ring main( havn't done it yet). I'm working backwards feeding cable through conduit to the workshop 3 metres away and I want two double sockets (radio and maybe a small bench grinder).
