This is the actual chimney...its on a flat roof with no scaffold required... the felt is fine.. there is a small area of ponding however after wrapping the chimney up the leak has stopped and the wall has dried out completely

I'm looking to replace a radiator in my bedroom it's 1275mm x 600mm. I can't find anything this size online... its just a standard white central heating radiator. Does anyone know where I can get one?

Yes there are conduits....my wiring is black and red with the material covering.

Thanks for the reply and your time....its a bit more than a basic install.... we're getting outdoor pir floodlight extra sockets plus smoke alarms and heat sensors....I really like the guy that gave us the quote but just trying to get ideas...

Any sparks on here that can give a rough estimate on the cost to rewire a 3 bed house with dining room and garage.. just a rough idea.... already had a quote of 8k...I know its hard to price without seeing it in the flesh but any thoughts are appreciated

Can anyone recommend plinth lights that can be wired to the light circuit..i have a double light switch in the kitchen... one works the main light and another works ceiling leds.... there is spare cable that's comes from the leds under the kitchen cabinets....it must have been under cabinet...

Im looking to install a plinth heater in my kitchen and the booklet says it needs a 13 amp fused spur.. there is a double wall socket behind the oven that's not currently in use..... can a 13 amp fused spur be run from the double socket in order to power the plinth heater......or can i put a 13...

Yeah its a sink bowl with a low waste..the bowl sits on a worktop

My sink plastic waste is the old 36mm and i can only find 32mm or 40mm elbows and pipe....is there an adaptor available anywhere or are there any stockists of 36mm...cheers Just checked again ...the plastic welded on bends say 36mm so would that mean the pipe is 34 mm...

As madrab said try a screwdriver......i had a cellar joist with woodworm and pushed one straight through

Just to add ....gave it a quick water test and its leak free.....i know this will only last as long as the silicone can hold but i have ordered the essex kit as a back up should my bodge fail

Thanks for the reply...firstly that was not a DIY installation...the taps were in fact fitted by a time served experiencend plumber (make of that what you will)...i have made some attempts to repair his "work" by replacing the plastic nuts with brass and added the top hats supplied by another...

Right bought a set off ebay....if my repair doesnt hold ill try it...cheers guys
