Hi, my IDEAL ISAR HE35 boiler has started leaking dirty water, its coming from the hole in the top of the automatic air vent. Any quick fix ideas? And if not does it require a new AAV, and does that require gas engineer works? Thanks all

Actually now iv compare to the new one ita just my spring moving not the actual diverter, thats really stiff so ill swap and see how i go

Ok so my diverter valve cartridge has came and just taken the actuator off to get to it and the spring seems perfectly fine? Free from dirt etc...Could it be the actuator itself

Hi, i ordered a heat exchanger which was advertised on ebay as compatible with my he35 ideal boiler. However it is half the size. It will still fit but suspect i shouldn’t? Kind of hoping someone tells me it will be fine? Common sence says no but i can hope :-)
