Hot water issue

Hi, my Hot water is only running hot when taps are on slow, the faster i flow the hot water the colder It gets, note that one of the seals have just gone on my heat exchanger so i have ordered new seals and a new heat exchanger to swap over the next couple when it comes Through the post, could it actually be the heat exchanger thats causing this issue? Thanks

could be various things depending on boiler type etc water temp flow rates

Ok thanks for response. Ill see if the heat exchanger fixes issue if not i guess ill have to seek help
