The threshold to an existing external door has rotted in places and I want to cut out the rotten areas and patch/scarf in a new piece of timber. Any advice appreciated on the type of timber to use on the repair. I assume it's hardwood? Many thanks

Hello My bathroom has an xpelair humidistat fan which has packed in. I bought a replacement a few months ago manrose Xp100h but have only just come to fit it. The xpelair had only 3 input terminal L N and E. The manrose has a switched live terminal as well. The wire running to the fan is only 2...
