    I can tell it's done the job as the feed to the hot water tank is cold and before it was always warm so tomorrow I'll plumb the shower to the tank and hope it improves the shower thanks men and fran for suggesting you guys.

    The non return valves replaced shower again crap so I guess tomorrow re plumb from cold tank and see if that changes the shower failing that fit a pump ?     They don't the toilet and all 3 taps are mains so the only thing fed from the tank is the hot water.     It feeds off the bathroom sink which isn't a mixer tap before the old shower was feed from the bath supply which came from the cold water tank mmmm so if its fed from mains how would it get into the hot water ?. Thanks

    Hi Terry thanks for your reply. I have a mixer tap in the kitchen downstairs that runs off mains, I fitted a new shower before Christmas a mixer type the hot and cold run off the the bathroom sink. The cold tank is in the loft I guess within 2 meters the heating tank between the 2.
