Hi any one know roughly what a plasterboard cieling can handle? I need to mount an extractor fan which weighs 11kg not that heavy, but cant get to the joists. Was thinking of putting a batton resting above the cieling and then screwing to the batton so it sort of clamps it if you get me? But...
